Mood Questions
The mood of the book had definately changed since the first 1/3 of the book. Ronnie is becoming more happy now that she is going out with Will. She finally stopped being mad at her dad and everything is going well. Ronnie even takes a visit to Will's house and finds out that he is very rich. This doesn't change her impression of him, but she wishes she told him. They have a great time together swimming in Will's pool and watching over the turtle eggs throughout the night. One of the only bad things in this 2/3 section is when Will's mom really doesn't like Ronnie. Besides that this 2/3 of the book had a mood that was very cheery and happy.

Summary
Today in the second meeting of independent reading book club, we discussed the second third of the novel, The Last Song. We talked about different thing that happened between Will and Ronnie. We noticed that the mood of the book changed completely. It is now very happy and cheerful now that Will and Ronnie are together. We also talked about how it was really important that Ronnie stopped being mad at her father. We all did not like Will’s mom because she didn’t like Ronnie. We thought that she was way to judgmental, just because Ronnie dressed differently. So far we are all enjoying the book a lot. We are all ahead of schedule and are excited for the end of the book. The meetings are going well, except for the little arguments Brinker and Laura have. Dennis really did a great job with the bringing in of the food and we are all very happy about that. We hope the next meeting is just as good, without some of the anger.
