They held the court case where a lot of people were hung. The girls were blaming mary warren and saying she was a demon. mary warren then blamed proctor and it turned into a blame-fest where Reverend Hale quit the court. They were going to hang Prcotor, Martha Corey, and Rebecca Nurse. Proctor had the chance to confess and live except he didnt want his name to be tainted for the rest of his life. he signed the paper and then ripped it up. the story ended with them being hung while saying a prayer which really set the message for the rest of Salem.
